Adventureland is the land of exotic locations, of jungles and deserted islands and of course pirates!
[edit] Walkthrough
When you stand on Main Street, U.S.A.'s central plaza and look towards Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant, you will see an Eastern styled building just left of the castle marking the entrance to Adventureland. Walking through the gate you enter a bazaar-like area with Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin and La Girafe Curieuse on your left and on your right Les Trésors de Shéhérazade, a typical bazaar store. Turning left you walk past Café de la Brousse where you can get a quick bite to eat. Further on is Restaurant Hakuna Matata where you can enjoy international cuisine in a Lion King themed restaurant. For now we will walk past the bridge to Adventure Isle and the Coolpost where we could have got ourselves a quick bite. We continue towards Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost where you can enjoy Italian Cuisine in a setting direct from the Jungle Book. We continue down the road and find the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril attraction hidden deep in the jungle. Here is also the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost for some jungle souvenirs and explorer accessories. Taking the little path to our left we enter Adventure Isle. Here we find La Cabane des Robinsons which tells the story of this ship-wrecked family and how they survived. Discovering the rest of the island we find caves and bridges through and over rocks and little creeks. After a while we discover a large pirate ship which lies in front of Skull Rock. In this ship is a food counter called Captain Hook's Galley, enter if you dare. Near the ship is located Pirates' Beach where the little pirates can slide, climb and swing safely. Taking the large rope bridge off the island we turn left and walk right towards Pirates of the Caribbean where we can see how pirates conquered a little village. Exiting this attraction we walk past Le Coffre du Capitaine where you can get yourself a pirate outfit. You can also enjoy a fish meal whilst watching the boats float by in the Blue Lagoon Restaurant.
[edit] Attractions
Adventureland houses some of the more thrilling attractions of the Disneyland Park. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril for instance is a rollercoaster with several loops. The Pirates of the Caribbean is not that physically thrilling but has beautiful scenery. La Cabane des Robinsons takes you on a climb up a huge tree where you can peek into the lives of the Robinson family as they we stranded on a desert island. At the Pirates' Beach, the little pirates continue exploring and run safely under parental supervision. The rest of Adventure Isle is one big playground for adults with caves, hanging bridges and stepping stones through calm creeks. But beware: don't get lost! In the bazaar, near the Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant is Le Passage Enchanté d'Aladdin where you walk through the story of Aladdin in a few tableaux.
[edit] Restaurants
The supposition that Adventureland can offer some interesting menus is proven by one of Disneyland Resort Paris's top restaurants, located in Adventureland: Blue Lagoon Restaurant. In this fish restaurant you can enjoy a meal whilst watching the boats from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction float by. If you're more into pizzas and pasta you must visit Colonel Hathi's Pizza Outpost, an Italian restaurant in jungle style. Restaurant Hakuna Matata offers an international menu in a Lion King themed restaurant. At Captain Hook's Galley you can grab a quick bite to eat and then continue exploring Adventure Isle. On the terrace of Café de la Brousse you can enjoy the view and silence. If it's getting too hot you can get a cool drink and icecream at the Coolpost.

At the entrance of Adventureland, near Le Château de la Belle au Bois Dormant is the bazaar which consists of the typcial bazaar store Les Trésors de Shéhérazade. On the other side of the bazaar is La Girafe Curieuse. For merchandise related to Indiana Jones you must go to the Indiana Jones Adventure Outpost near the Indiana Jones and the Temple of Peril attraction. There is also a pirates themed boutique at the exit of the Pirates of the Caribbean-attraction named Le Coffre du Capitaine. And, last but not least there's Temple Traders.
