The history of DLRPwiki.org is still a short one:

In November 2005 GrandiJoos got the idea for a Disneyland Resort Paris wikipedia while being in the Resort. It never left his head.

Due to an internship, it took till January 2006 before he started to familiarize himself with the wiki software.

In March 2006 the DLRPwiki.org opened with the Dutch and Commons wiki. This was mainly to see how to set it up and if there where enough Dutch people willing to collaborate. Although one active volunteer was found it was not a big success.

In July 2006 the English wiki was opened and 'serious' writing began.

From 8 August 2006 onwards, messages where posted on various forums to find some volunteers to help with writing articles.
